Mrs. Barbara Amiel
Mrs. Barbara Amiel is a veteran teacher of the Littleton, Colorado and Glendale, Arizona public school system, with over 10 years of experience. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University as well as state certification. She has assumed leadership positions in her work, such as chairing the Teacher-Student Support Team at her previous schools.
Rabbi Avichai Pepper - Judaic Studies Middle School
Rabbi Pepper is a graduate of the New England Rabbinical College, where he received his Teaching Degree. Rabbi Pepper is a veteran of the Seattle Hebrew Academy, where he taught and served as the school’s Student Activities Coordinator. He also served as the Director of Synagogue Youth Programs for one of Seattle’s largest congregations, Bikur Cholim Congregation. In his spare time, Rabbi Pepper held the position of Assistant Director of Camp Dora Golding, a summer camp that serves over 1,000 campers each year.
Mrs. Diana Nashban - Second & Fourth Grade General Studies
Mrs. Nashban has taught in the Hebrew Academy for over 20 years, and she serves as the Student Council Advisor. Mrs. Nashban hold two Masters Degrees, both in General Education and in Special Education. Nashban@PhoenixHebrewAcademy.org
Rabbi Shmuel Field - Third & Fifth Grade Judaic Studies
Rabbi Field is a veteran teacher arriving from Torah Day School of Atlanta, Georgia. Rabbi Field is a popular student activities director, running his own summer camp and Youth Director of Beth Jacob Congregation, which serves over 400 families.

Mrs. Adler - First Grade Judaic Studies
Mrs. Adler is a veteran teacher of eight years. She hold a Bachelors degree in psychology and a Masters Degree in Special Education from the College of Staten Island.

Mrs. Callie Ward, Middle School Language Arts & Social Studies

Mrs. Ward is a veteran private school teacher from Tucson, Arizona, bringing over eight years of educational experience. She holds her degrees from University of Arizona and University of Phoenix. Notably, Mrs. Ward was awarded a “Fullbright-Hayes” Memorial Scholarship for study abroad. She was voted Teacher of the Year twice in her previous school, and served as its Student Council Advisor.

Mrs. Norma Walker, Kindergarten and Third Grade, General Studies
Mrs. Walker is a veteran teacher of  the Mesa, Arizona public school system, where she taught in the primary grades. Ms. Walker is known for her creativity and love of teaching. She holds her Degree in Education from Minot State University, as well as her Arizona teacher’s certificate.
Mrs. Heather Elias, First and Third GradeMrs. Elias holds both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Arizona State University. She has experience in the Scottsdale Public Schools, as well as Religious Schools across the valley. Mrs. Elias brings her passion for theater into the classroom, making her instruction come alive.
Mrs. Noel McClure, Sixth GradeMrs. McClure brings a variety of teaching experience, including teaching and mentoring in the Osborne School District. She holds her Bachelors in Elementary Education, as well as her Masters Degree. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate, pursuing her Ph.D. in Education. Mrs. McClure is most noted in her prior schools for her creative touch, leading her classes to take on significant public service projects, such as building a breeding environment for endangered fish together with the National Park Service.
Mrs. Mary Johnson, Fifth GradeMrs. Johnson has taught for over 25 years in the Clark County (Nevada) School District, where she won various teaching awards, including “Outstanding Teacher” in her district. Mrs. Johnson holds her degrees and certification from the University of Nevada and University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
Mrs. Lea Field, Second Grade Judaic StudiesMrs. Field has taught Primary Grades as well as preschool in Chicago, Illinois, as well as Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Field holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Education as well as a certificate from Ner L’Elef.
Mrs. Alanna Pepper, Kindergarten, Judaic StudiesMrs. Pepper is a veteran Kindergarten Morah, having taught in Houston, Texas and Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Pepper holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Teacher’s Certificate from Moreshet Teacher’s Seminary in Jerusalem, Israel.
